LightEdison intends to hire and train employees to accommodate a number of available projects that are currently in the pipeline. One of the concerns surrounding hiring is finding qualified staff and staff that fit the company's culture. It has been discussed previously to transition to hiring under-qualified staff in an effort to reduce labor cost and have the ability to mold our team members. More recently, we have finalized our eligibility to hire under-qualified individuals in certain states under the Work Innovation Opportunity Act (“WIOA”) Workforce Program, OJT. LE aims to participate in high volume recruiting, bringing on a large number of employees in a set of 40 for training. LE will work with PyramidEdg Consulting assisting in the training and development of new staff, and aggressively staff our current projects with trainees who will eventually transition out of OJT into full-time positions with LE, and possibly transition into trainers themselves. Utilizing the OJT program helps reduce training cost, offering the ability to invest those funds into other employee benefits, a training center, continued hiring and project acquisition.
